Best Abs Workout For Women - Are You Doing This?

In this article, I am going to teach you one of the best abs workout for women that will tone and firm your belly much quicker than most other exercises.

Belly fat is unattractive and is good reason to wear loose fitting clothing. After all, who would want to show off unsightly belly fat?

Women often build up more fat in this area of the body than men and it can sometimes seem like a hopeless battle to get rid of it. You might know what I'm talking about if you have ever tried dieting or exercise to get rid of it.

However, there is an exercise that can sometimes knock out the belly fat fairly quick. The exercise I'm referring to is called the bicycle exercise. And no, you will not have to go out and buy a bicycle in order to do it.

If you are not familiar with this, it basically involves you on your back doing a bicycle motion with your legs while you alternate your arms.

It sounds rather difficult, but once you get the rhythm, you will be able to do it on a daily basis. And the exercise not only works out your abdominal, but also your legs and thighs.

You now have an abs workout for women that will not only tone your abs, but also burn off fat if done regularly. Remember that with every exercise plan, there must be a good diet plan. This means eating lots of leafy green vegetables and drinking lots of water.

Biceps Toning Workout for Women

Most women I know, are typically afraid of doing any type of strength training exercise such as a biceps toning workout, for fear of building up too much muscle. The belief that strength training turn women into blocks of muscles, is a big misconception. In order to build muscles, one needs a healthy dose of testosterone, which is a male hormone. Women do not have much testosterone, and as a result, women do not bulk up as easily as men do. Therefore, if you are a woman, you should not be afraid of losing your female appearance, when you do your biceps toning workout.

If you want to get rid of the fat you build around your upper arms, it is important that you firm up your biceps through proper biceps toning workouts. Biceps workouts should be done, in addition to your regular cardio workouts. The cardio workout will help rid your body of the extra fat, and the biceps toning workout will help give your upper arms a toned look. Also, biceps muscles require extra calories as they grow. As a result, your biceps will be burning fat from your body.

There are several biceps toning workouts you can do. Examples of biceps exercises include concentration curls, hammer curls, barbell curls, high pulley curls, low pulley curls, etc. Most of these biceps exercises require that you either have a set of dumbbells, or that you have access to a gym facility. However, if you have a resistance band, you should be able to work out your biceps effectively.

Biceps Toning Workout for Women

If you have a resistance band and a Swiss ball, try the following biceps toning workout: lie down on the Swiss ball, and make sure your feet are flat on the floor, approximately shoulder-width apart. Roll down slightly on the Swiss ball, such that only your upper back is resting on the ball. Prior to taking this position, lock the resistance band firmly into place. Begin curling the resistance band, while keeping your upper arms relatively parallel to each other. Allow your arms to fully extend at the finishing point of each movement. Maintain a proper breathing pattern throughout the workout. Do this exercise for one full minute. Then take a very short break, and repeat the biceps exercise again 9 more times.

To get the best results out of your biceps workout, you should push yourself to failure. That means, you should keep curling the resistance band until you run out of strength. Take small breaks throughout this strength training exercise routine.

Good luck!

A Workout for Women Who Want to Be Toned

I am constantly amazed at the dearth of quality information on the internet available to women about fitness routines. The vast majority of blogs seem to be targeted at men with most of their content focusing on how get bigger muscles. I've gotten a ton of requests for information that targets women and most of the women I know are not concerned with building large bulky muscles. Most of the women I know want to have a slim, toned, yet feminine look and the truth is that does take a slightly different approach. Below I've developed a basic overview of a weekly workout schedule that women may want to consider in order to achieve that toned yet feminine look.
Strategic Cardio Workouts
Strategic cardio workouts as outlined below will help you achieve three important things:
  1. These are effect fat burning workouts that will get your fat burners turned on
  2. Strategic cardio will help you develop toned and sexy calves and thighs.
  3. Strategic cardio will burn more calories during the week to help you lose weight
Strategic cardio should be done 3 times per week. Start with a slow, steady pace. Jog for 10-15 minutes to get your body warmed up and ready to go hard. Then do 6-8 interval sprints. Interval sprints are intense but brief sprints followed by a slow paced recovery. Sprint as hard as you can for 20 seconds and then walk for 60 seconds. If these are too difficult, then extend your recovery time to 90 seconds. Eventually they will get easier. Interval sprints spike HGH levels in your bloodstream. HGH is the hormone that tells your body to start using fat as an energy source. Once you've released the HGH by doing the interval sprints, jump back on the treadmill for a 20-30 minutes steady cardio jog. The HGH in your bloodstream will ensure that your body uses fat as the primary source of energy for this longer run. Doing workouts like this three times a week will really help get rid of any fat hiding your muscle tone.
Weight Training Workouts
We will use weight training to help firm up and tone your muscles. We will NOT be using weights to build bigger, bulkier muscles. You will want to do weight training 2-3 times per week.
Contrary to popular belief, low weight-high repetition workouts will not give you lean toned muscles. In fact, recent studies have shown that low weight-high repetition training can be just as effective at building muscle as high weight-low repetition training. To really bring out muscle tone you need to focus on strong muscle contractions, but you want to avoid too much fatigue in the muscle. It is the muscle fatigue of high repetition training that tells your muscles to get bigger. To do this, you want to focus on the 3-5 repetition range doing 5 sets for each muscle group. For example, if you want to improve the tone of your biceps then you would do 5 sets of dumbbell curls with repetitions of 5-4-4-3-2. You would want to increase the weight for each set. If you start with 10 lb dumbbells for the first set, then you would finish at 16 or 16 lb dumbbells on the last set. The first two sets should be pretty easy. The last set should take a concerted effort. Give your muscles plenty of time to recover between sets. Remember, you don't want too much muscular fatigue; you simply want your muscle to do strong contractions with heavy weights. Lifting this way will actually harden the muscle by making it more dense. By avoiding fatigue you will avoid bulky muscle growth; this is the most important tip usually missing from workouts for women.
Combined Strategic Cardio and Weight Training
If you are unable to work out more than three times per week then you can combine the weight training and cardio workout. To do so, keep your jogging warm up to 10 minutes. Then complete your weight training routine, but do not do any leg lifts. Then complete 6 interval sprints followed by 10-15 minutes of steady state cardio. This combination will allow you to reap the benefits of burning fat and improving muscle tone in fewer workouts per week.
The best workouts for women are those that teach you how to use cardio to burn fat and how to use weight training to build muscle tone. By using the above tips for establishing an exercise routine women who want to be toned will be well on their way to achieving that slim, sexy, look.
A final word on diet...
No matter how much effort you put into your workout routines, you can never outwork a bad diet. To really see the results of your hard work you need to ensure that you are not consuming more calories than you burn in a week. Check out some of my other articles for more advice on getting control of your diet.

Abs Workout For Women - Four Easy Exercises

Abs workout for women is only a part of a total workout. To really show off your abs you need to look good all over. But, to get those great abs that make your friends jealous here are four easy to do, but tough on abs exercises.
In my opinion, all you really need to get your whole body ripped is a set of dumbbells, a stability ball and your own bodyweight. You do not need a gym load of equipment to build strength and look good.
Today we are going to talk about four exercises and all you need is your own bodyweight. The four exercises are:
1. Stability ball crunches
2. Leg rises
3. Leg scissors
4. Reverse Crunch
Stability Ball Crunches
The stability ball is great, because it supports your back and you use more muscle to keep the ball still. When you first use a stability ball you will wonder where the name comes from, you will feel anything but stable. But, with a little practice you get the hang of it and it is great for the midsection of the body.
To do a crunch on a ball, lay across the ball with the small of your back on the ball. Now you tighten your abs and raise your shoulders, reaching towards your knees with your arms. Only raise your shoulders slightly and lower, keeping the abs tight.
Start with as many reps as you can comfortably do and work up to 20 reps. Then you can add another set of 20 reps. It will take you awhile to work up to that many reps so, don't push it.
Leg Rises
Lay flat on your back on the floor, legs straight. It is best to use a mat to support your body. Place your hands, palms down, under your butt to support your back. Now slowly raise your legs 12 inches off the floor and lower until your feet are about 1 inch off the floor. That is one rep.
These are tough, so just do five or six reps in the beginning. Once you reach 10 to 12 reps, rest for 1 minute and complete another set. This exercise will work on that little tummy bulge below the belt that everyone wants to get lose.
Leg Scissors
Another lower ab and inner thigh exercise is the leg scissors. While in the same starting position as above bring the legs up until the bottom of your feet are towards the ceiling. Next, spread the legs straight to the sides, as far as you can comfortable go, and return to the legs straight towards the ceiling.
That is one rep. Work towards 10 reps and start another set.
Reverse Crunch
The last exercise is the reverse crunch. This is rather tough, but will bring great results.
Begin the exercise with the feet pointing towards the ceiling as in the leg scissors exercise. Lift the butt off the floor, legs still pointing towards the ceiling. Return to the beginning position. This is one rep. Start with 6 reps, if you can, and build to 10. Again, when this becomes easy start another rep.
The above four exercises will provide a great abs workout for women, and guys too.

Best Fat Burning Fitness For Women!
If you are wanting to torch the body fat and turn your metabolism into a rocket engine in order to give you the beach body that you couldn't have dreamed up better yourself then you have got to learn how to execute the overhead kettlebell snatch lift. Ladies this lift, like all kettlebell lifts, is very dynamic in nature, but is known as the Czar of all kettlebell lifts. The snatch lift is great for your hips, glutes, hamstrings, back, shoulders, and the rest of your big core muscles. This lift will not only give you a terrific level of strength to kick start a healthy lifestyle, but it will give you the cardiovascular conditioning of an elite level athlete!
Now if you are going to get the body you desire the most then you have got to put in the time. The key to getting the results you want the most has to do with smart training. The kettlebell snatch involves you standing with your feet at about shoulder width distance apart in length and pulling the bell from between your legs up to above your head in one smooth movement. This pulling and elevation of the bell involves you having to engage your hips and knees in a state of forceful flexion and then extension in order to generate the momentum to get the bell pulled up to a level just lateral to your head. This level is known as the "high pull" position and should mimic the action of you "pulling back on a bow" like with a bow and arrow. Once the bell is at this point you will then complete the lift by vertically punching your fist towards the sky.
Ladies, if you are wanting a serious fat loss program that will not only change your body, but also your lifestyle then you have just found it. Running Stairs - Cardio Workout For Women to Lose Weight Fast

Running Stairs Use To Be Fun Not A Workout
Remember when you were little and running up and down the stairs to see who was the fastest was just something that was fun to do. Never mind how many stairs or how tired you would be later, all you knew at that point is how much fun you where having with your friends. Now that you are an adult walking or running stairs seems to be more of a workout than anything.
Cardio Workout For Women
If you ever want to give yourself a full body workout and achieve a slim and sexy look then a running stairs cardio workout is for you. Ever notice how great and tone women who play sports look no matter what they eat? From soccer, track, volleyball, to basketball these women have to run up and down stairs several times per day for three to four days a week. Running stairs definitely kicks butt and melts away fat.
Running Stairs Burns Fat Fast
Running stairs is definitely not the easiest thing in the world to do nor is it really on too many women's to do list. However this is exactly why you should be going outside or in the gymnasium and doing them. Normally the only people you find going up and down stairs for a cardio workout are usually top athletes and other people you assume where already in shape before hitting the stairs. This cardio is hard to do but can be done in a short period of time since it can be done as interval training.
The Proper Technique for Running Stairs
1. Step on every other step
2. Use your entire body while running
3. Make sure you use the muscles in your quadriceps
4. Run on your tip toes
5. Make sure you use your arms to help with movement
Start Small and Work Your Way Up
Don't be in a rush to run up the entire gym when you first start out. Start with one flight of stairs and increase your speed as you become more accustomed. As you get in better shape and start increasing the difficulty of your stair workout. This could mean running more and more flights of stairs or simply running them faster. The more you do them the easier they will become and you will be getting fitter. Don't just use running stairs cardio for your workout but add them in your daily routine as well. Make sure you take the stairs at work or when you park your car in the garage.
